Defence company Saab has received an order from the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration, FMV, for the development of a new generation of flight control computers for the Gripen fighter aircraft. The order value amounts to SEK 1.3 billion and delivery is planned for 2030.
The new flight control computer will replace the existing one and ensure Gripen’s long-term availability, performance and security of supply. Development is being carried out in close cooperation with FMV.
