Streaming giant Netflix has secured exclusive rights to show all matches from the 2030 FIFA World Cup for men to viewers in Spain and Andorra, according to a press release.
The agreement covers live broadcasts of all matches as well as studio broadcasts before, during and after the matches. Netflix will also offer daily highlights and special programmes ahead of the tournament.
The World Cup will be held from June 8 to July 21, 2030, with Spain, Portugal and Morocco as the main host countries.
The deal represents an expansion of Netflix’s cooperation with FIFA. The company already holds exclusive broadcasting rights to the 2027 and 2031 Women’s FIFA World Cups in the US and Canada.
