Affärsvärlden issues a Buy rating for the IT consulting company Softronic in an analysis on Tuesday.
Many IT consultants have had a tough time on the stock market, and Softronic is no exception, the publication notes. The big question now is whether IT consultants can retain their role and margins when AI makes the work both easier and cheaper
In its base case, the publication sees 30 percent upside in the stock over a couple of years.
“If you do not believe AI will destroy the consulting industry, we see an interesting entry point. If AI can also deliver structurally higher margins over time, the upside is substantial. The net cash, recurring contracts and low valuations in the sector also provide some protection if things deteriorate. We arrive at a Buy rating,” Affärsvärlden writes in its conclusion.
