Pareto notes that salmon farmer Bakkafrost’s harvest volume of 27,600 tonnes in the third quarter was 7 percent above the bank’s forecast, mainly driven by the Faroe Islands.
Pareto believes that 100,000 tonnes can be reached there in 2026, above the guidance of 97,000 tonnes.
At the same time, Scotland weighs with low harvest weights and extraordinary mortality costs of DKK 42 million.
Pareto therefore believes that EBIT estimates for 2026 could be lowered by 2-5 percent.
