Oil major TotalEnergies is considering oil and gas projects worth nearly 10 billion dollars in Argentina over the medium term, according to CEO Patrick Pouyanné. Bloomberg News reports.
The plans include around 1.5 billion dollars to increase gas production off Tierra del Fuego, as well as 4-5 billion dollars over ten years to increase shale gas production in the Neuquén Basin.
The company is also investing in renewable energy and has invested nearly 6 billion dollars in Argentina over the past ten years.
