Pareto’s Swedish portfolio outperformed the index – replaces more than half of the portfolio

Pareto Securities’ Swedish portfolio delivered a positive return of 0.63 percent in September. It therefore outperformed the OMXGI benchmark index, which fell 1.63 percent during the month.

Seven of the ten stocks in the portfolio outperformed OMXGI, with Coffee Stain and SCA at the top, gaining 7.6 and 5.5 percent, respectively. The biggest underperformer was Nordrest, down 5.6 percent.

More than half of the portfolio will be replaced ahead of October. Pareto is removing Assa Abloy, Coffee Stain, Kinnevik, Note, SKF and SCA. They will be replaced by Camurus, Hanza, Revolution Race, Asmodee, Bilia and Stille.

The portfolio is up 31.2 percent so far this year, which is a full 20.8 percentage points better than the index.
