German wind power company Nordex has received a 56-megawatt order from WEB Windenergie in Austria, according to a press release.
The order concerns the Auersthal RI repowering project in Lower Austria and includes the delivery and installation of eight N175/6.X turbines, as well as a 25-year service agreement. The project is Nordex’s first with the N175/6.X model in the country and the company’s largest single project to date in Austria.
Each turbine has an installed capacity of 7 megawatts. Commissioning is scheduled for 2028.
