NRGi Renewables is investing in a new wind power project near Svendborg on Funen with three Vestas turbines that are expected to become operational in 2028.
The wind turbines will have a combined capacity of 13.5 megawatts and are estimated to produce around 39 gigawatt-hours of electricity per year, corresponding to the annual consumption of approximately 9,000 Danish households.
NRGi will own two of the turbines, while project developer Lars Kronshage will own the third. The investment amount has not been specified exactly, but the total investment is stated to be a three-digit million amount.
