The trade union Unionen’s council for collective bargaining issues has decided on the direction ahead of Avtal 2027. Unionen will pursue demands for higher real wages, further reductions in working hours and greater trade union influence, according to a press release.
The direction is based on input from more than 21,000 members.
The union also wants to raise minimum wages in line with the scope for wage increases, strengthen the terms and conditions of elected employee representatives and improve family-friendly conditions. Employers’ demands for a lower rate of wage increases are rejected.
