SBAB raises fixed mortgage rates

The state-owned mortgage lender is raising its mortgage list rates for fixed-rate periods of between one and ten years by 0.10–0.20 percentage points effective September 29. The three-month rate is left unchanged at 3.15 percent.

The one-year rate is raised by 0.10 percentage points to 3.72 percent, while rates for two to five years are raised by 0.20 percentage points to between 4.09 and 4.39 percent. The seven-year rate is raised to 4.58 percent and the ten-year rate to 4.74 percent.

SBAB refers to rising longer-term market rates and consequently higher financing costs. The bank is simultaneously raising its longer-term fixed savings rates to a corresponding extent.
