Norges Hytteforbund opposes the Tax Committee’s proposal that gains from the sale of holiday homes should be taxed at 22 percent.
Today, sales are tax-free after at least five years of ownership and use.
The association warns that the proposal could make intergenerational transfers more difficult and wants exemptions for inheritances and buyouts of co-heirs.
