Prior to founding Finwire, Mats held a position as Head-of-content at Millistream Market Data, a fast growing market data vendor i Europe. In the past he has been working as a managing editor at SIX News and as an equities reporter and columnist at E24. Mats started his career as an equities reporter covering capital goods at Ecovision. He has two daughters and one son.

Fredrik Hansson

CTO and Sales Manager

Fredrik Hansson, one of the founders of Finwire , has a long career in the industry of financial information markets.

Fredrik started his career in the industry 1995 when he, 23 years old,   joined Reuters in Gothenburg working as System Engineer. During his time at Reuters  Fredrik held a wide and varied set of tasks and job descriptions. After almost a decade Fredrik left global market information vendor Reuters and joined the Swedish company SIX Information services. He joined as Key account manager and after 5 years at SIX he left and joined Infront a Norwegian technology company and has been working with business development and sales management ever since.

Finwire was founded 2013 and Fredrik’s main responsibility is to handle all technical and sales related tasks at the firm. Fredrik is married to Cecilia and father of three kids. He likes to spend time with his family as well as an occasional round of golf every now and then.

Lars Johansson

Managing Editor

Prior to Finwire , Lars held a position as Editor-In-Chief at SIX News/Ticker News during the years 1998-2016.  And before those years, he was an equities reporter at financial information company Ecovision during 1993-1997.

Besides great interest of the financial markets, he likes running  and watch premier league football.  He drives a Volvo and has two kids.

Stefan Linnér

Editor Finwire

Stefan Linnér, born in 1980, has a degree in Master of Science in Economics, University of Gothenburg. Earlier work experience include positions at software companies Visma and Hogia. Stefan has also been working as an equities reporter at SIX News and has followed financial markets and tech business for more than a decade. Other interests include triathlon and reading.

Henrik Öhlin

Editor Finwire Smallcap

Henrik Öhlin, born 1975. Master of Science in Economics, University of Gothenburg.
Prior to joining Finwire, Henrik worked 13 years at SIX News as an equities reporter covering construction, real estate and investment companies. He has experience from working with corporate actions and index calculations.

In his spare time Henrik is an avid golf enthusiast and treasurer of the board in his housing cooperative. He prefers investing in dividend shares.

Jonathan Furelid

Editor Investment Funds

Jonathan Furelid, born in 1977, holds a M.Sc. in Business Administration from the University of Linköping. Having spent more than a decade managing institutional hedge fund portfolios, he has a keen interest in everything that has to do with professional money management.

In his role as editor for the Finwire Fund service, Jonathan will cover news related to the mutual fund and hedge fund industry in Sweden. Benefiting from a background as a fund manager, his ambition is to create a newsfeed that captures the vast knowledge of other fund managers, thereby bridging the information gap between investment funds and their investors.

Rikard Jansson

Editor Newsletters

Rikard Jansson, born 1977. Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Linnaeus University, Växjö. Prior to joining Finwire, Rikard worked 10 years as a local editor, reporter, photographer and in later years also video-photographer – mainly at the regional newspaper SLA – Skaraborgs Allehanda.

In his role as an editor for Finwire newsletter service, Rikard will serve as a project-leader for delivering fast and reliable business- and stock news to online stockbrokers and their clients.

Other interests include visual storytelling, travel and training.

Olle Qvarnström

CEO Finwire Media & Services

Prior to founding Finwire Media, Olle spent 6 years in the IT-consulting industry. His interest in economics started at the age of 14 when he bought his first shares. In 2012 he started an independent blog on investing which later grew to be one of the biggest in Sweden. This ultimately led him to the decision to leave IT in order to be able to work closer to the financial markets.
